David is a contemporary artist whose life long goal is to paint the people and the things that give him joy and inspire beauty and understanding, which he believes comes through normal, everyday life. Though mostly self taught in painting, David has a broad range of education and experience, including a Bachelor of Arts in theology from Briercrest College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English and Visual Art from the University of the Fraser Valley; he is also a seasoned stone mason, a potter and a father of four, all of which have helped inform and inspire his paintings. David works with clients, painting by commission from his home studio in Ryder Lake, BC.
